Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2026
CaloriEat (this web application) is designed so that your nutrition data stays on your device using browser storage (typically localStorage). We do not operate a user database or cloud sync in this version.
What We Collect
- Information you enter: Stored locally in your browser (e.g., profile fields, meals, weigh-ins, goals).
- Technical data: Your browser and hosting provider may collect standard logs (IP, user agent) when you load the site—outside CaloriEat’s code.
- Third-party resources: Fonts or Chart.js may be loaded from CDNs; those providers may see requests per their own policies.
What We Do Not Do (This Build)
- No account recovery server, no marketing email list, and no sale of personal data through this app.
- Contact/demo forms, if shown, may not transmit messages until a backend is connected.
Your Choices
Clear site data in your browser to remove local profiles. Use private/incognito mode if you prefer not to persist data between sessions.
